About Your Team
Behind every groundbreaking product, there’s an awesome team! A robust Fraud & Risk Operations team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding transactions and ensuring consumer trust. This dedicated team is responsible for identifying, preventing, and combating fraudulent activities, ensuring a secure and seamless shopping experience for both buyers and sellers.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical insights and reporting to support decision-making within the company. You will work closely with the Fraud & Risk Operations team and other departments to analyze fraud-related data, manage complex data sources, automate data processes, and provide insights into business performance. This is a critical role in our organization, as the insights and recommendations you provide will inform key strategic decisions that drive our growth and success.
Responsibilities

Lead the data collection and integration projects within the fraud domain.

Develop and maintain performance reports for fraud analytics.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), provide insights into fraud patterns, suspicious transaction volumes, and other risk indicators.

Identify opportunities to optimize fraud management processes and reduce operational costs, work with Fraud & Risk Operations team to optimize fraud detection and reduce fraud incidents.

Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Collaborate with other teams such as finance, customer support, and product development to address fraud-related challenges and opportunities.

Perform ad-hoc analysis and research to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.
Requirements

1-3+ years of experience in business analytics in fraud area.

Advanced level of SQL with an ambition to improve.

Strong quantitative and analytical competency.

Ability to identify and suggest potential improvements in the fraud domain by analyzing transactional, business, and market data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex information in an easily understandable way.
€35,000 - €48,000 a year
*Salary ranges may vary. We’re seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
*We’re an international team and our business language of choice is English. Good English level is required, proficiency is preferred.
