Job Description:
 

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our client’s team in Vilnius, a growing software development company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading engineering teams, overseeing project execution, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with various departments to optimize development processes and drive innovation, helping the company achieve its business goals.

Responsibilities:

​

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of custom software solutions.

  • Work closely with product managers and other departments to understand business needs and ensure alignment with technical solutions.

  • Review and refine engineering processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and quality.

  • Help drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and incorporating best practices into the development lifecycle.

  • Provide technical leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

  • Identify and resolve potential project roadblocks and provide timely solutions.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, encouraging continuous improvement and learning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality software projects.

  • Strong background in software development with expertise in modern development practices and technologies.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.

  • Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Monthly Salary:

 

€4800 – €6600 gross, depending on qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
