Our Client is an early-stage technology startup building a digital marketplace that simplifies how people repair and maintain their everyday items. The platform connects consumers with trusted service providers through a seamless, tech-enabled experience designed to remove friction from the traditionally fragmented repair process. With a strong focus on sustainability and user convenience, the company aims to extend product lifecycles and reshape how people care for the things they own.

We're looking for a mid-level or senior Frontend Engineer who is fully AI-native - someone who doesn't just use AI tools, but thinks in systems, builds with AI as a first-class capability, and is excited about the future of how software is developed and delivered.

 

You'll join our engineering team and help build the user-facing experiences of our repair platform - from landing pages to customer-facing applications to a SaaS platform for repair service partners - while contributing to AI-powered features, agentic workflows, and a design system that scales across markets.

What You’ll Do

​​

  • Build responsive web applications using Next.js and React for both customer and service partner interfaces.

  • Develop landing pages to serve different markets and localization requirements.

  • Build and maintain a dedicated platform for repair service partners to manage their profiles, repair requests, orders, and analytics.

  • Design, implement, and iterate on AI-powered features from conversational interfaces to agentic workflows that automate complex user journeys.

  • Collaborate closely with the product designer to build and evolve a cohesive design system used across the platform.

  • Work with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between frontend and API.

  • Participate in rapid prototyping and feature experimentation to validate product hypotheses quickly.

  • Optimize application performance and ensure excellent user experience across devices.

  • Contribute to technical architecture decisions and help establish engineering best practices.

Who you are

​

  • 3-7+ years of frontend development experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Strong proficiency in React and component-based architecture.

  • Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles.

  • Comfortable with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Vitest).

  • Experience with modern build tools and development workflows (Vite, etc.).

  • Strong experience with git and collaborative development practices.

  • Experience integrating APIs and working with backend teams.

  • Understanding of performance optimization and web vitals.

  • Fully AI-native workflow you use AI coding tools daily, know their limits, and treat them as a force multiplier rather than a crutch

  • Hands-on experience building AI-integrated products LLM-powered UI, streaming responses, tool-calling interfaces, or agentic systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable in a collaborative startup environment.

Nice to Have:

 

  • Familiarity with AI SDK patterns (Vercel AI SDK, LangChain.js, or similar).

  • Experience designing or scaling design systems and component libraries.

  • Familiarity with UI component libraries (ShadCN, Radix UI).

  • Experience with image processing or file upload implementations.

  • Interest in mobile development with React Native or similar frameworks.

  • Full-stack development experience or willingness to contribute to backend tasks.

  • Experience with Laravel, PHP. 

  • Passion for sustainability and circular economy principles.

  • Experience in startup environments and agile development practices.
