Our Client, Workshop of Photonics is a leading femtosecond laser micromachining solutions provider for industry and science customers around the globe.
WOP delivers fully integrated services from feasibility and prototyping to actual solutions – micromachining services and tailor-made laser workstations.
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our development team. This is an opportunity to design and deliver mechanical solutions for state-of-the-art laser systems used across the globe. You will be responsible for creating innovative designs, coordinating with production partners, and ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.
In this role you will:

Design mechanical & optomechanical components, peripheral parts, assemblies for laser systems.

Create 3D models and technical drawings; ensure manufacturability.

Collaborate with suppliers and oversee quality of manufactured parts.

Perform assemblies, conduct system tests, and ensure mechanical modules operate to spec.

Support existing installations, solve mechanical issues, and propose improvements.
We expect that you’ll bring:
• Experience with CAD tools (e.g. Autodesk Inventor or similar).
• Background in precision mechanics, sheet metal or machined part production would be an advantage.
• Proactive approach and a strong sense of personal responsibility.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English
In return, we offer:

Monthly salary is 2000 - 3500 EUR Gross / Month (based on experience). The final agreed salary will depend on your experience and competence.
