Job Description:
 

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our client’s team in Lithuania, a forward-thinking data analytics company. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing large, complex datasets to help drive key business decisions and improve organizational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop advanced predictive models, apply machine learning techniques, and deliver actionable insights that directly impact the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems and optimize processes.

  • Analyze large volumes of data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that drive strategic decisions.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify data-driven opportunities.

  • Create advanced statistical models and algorithms to predict future outcomes and improve business performance.

  • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Ensure data integrity and the proper use of data across all projects.

  • Stay current with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.

  • Continuously improve analytical techniques and tools to enhance the quality of insights provided to the business.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data science, with a strong background in statistical modeling and machine learning.

  • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar data science programming languages.

  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and experience presenting data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Expertise in data manipulation, data cleaning, and working with large datasets.

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Keras).

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to tackle complex business challenges through data analysis.

  • A deep understanding of algorithms, statistical methods, and data structures.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
